Problems with accuracy are largely due to calibration. This is incredibly important with a CMGS. I've used the Minimed CGM for nearly 3 years now and absolutely love it. With CMGS of any brand, there is a learning curve. It may take a few weeks or...

No, I haven't and I've used Minimed pumps for more than 9 years. I would suggest calling Minimed's Tech Support number right away and they should be able to help you. They're available 24/7.

Hi Rick, It sounds like it could still be a calibration issue. I'm sure that the reps at Minimed have told you about this, but if you calibrate using a BG that's rising or falling, then the sensor information that you get afterwards might be "bad...

Hi Suzanne, That would be great! The CGM has really been a life-saver for me! I'm a very sound sleeper and I keep the CGM alarm set on vibrate, so sometimes I don't hear it immediately. But the nice thing is that the alarm will keep going off, un...

Doretta, your various comments on the CGM has been very helpful to me as I learn how to best use it without getting too frustrated. I got it in May and some days I love it, but it seems that I hate it more days. This past week has been amazing. Near perfect accuracy!! I think my thighs get better readings and I am getting better at calibrating. I also have been frustrated with how many times I am checking my blood. I used to check 4-5 times a day and now I am checking around 15 times...Which is okay in itself, but for a lot of times I felt like I was doing all of the CGMs work. Anyways, thank you for advice to everyone!! :)

I got an e-mail from Susan Meeke this evening requesting my phone number and I e-mailed her back, so I guess I'm just waiting on the call to get everything started. This very well may be an answer to my prayers.
