Hi Dr. Darling.
Thank you for your kind response. I appreciate your offer to join Fair also. I am one of those people who are desparately in need of a kidney transplant. Unfortunaterly i would never survive the surgery due to other organ problems.
You have had three transplants? Wow. That must have been a tremendous lot to go through. How are you doing now?

Wow, you live in Palm Desert huh? I used to live in Idyllwild in the mountains above and venture down to the desert for day trips. It is a truly beautiful place!

I met TuDiabetes.com founder Manuel Hernandez at the Tampa, Florida American Diabetes Association Expo where he joined our organization, FAIR Foundation, in favor of fairer and more equitable bio-medical research funding for diabetes. Indeed, one new diabetic or their family member joined FAIR every few minutes for six hours and this happens at every diabetes expo at which we exhibit because we have given 100 presentations in the Senate and House offices educating that our government spending $50 on each diabetic in research versus $3,052 on each HIV/AIDS patient is , basically, an outrageous example of AIDS favoritism. Kudos to Manny for doing such a great, original effort for diabetics with TuDiabetes.com and his desire for more research funding to find a cure—not just better drugs—but a cure! The FAIR Foundation will be more successful with more members, please come and join--joining is free and you will be one of thousands in all fifty states with non-AIDS illnesses who want the government to allocate funds more fairly. www.fairfoundation.org
