wow, it's been a long time. i don't really know where to start. so the last time that i went to the doctor; sometime in july, around the 16th maybe my bad cholesterol numbers went down some more! to be honest i don't know how that keeps happening but it's really nice to see the changes that i have done for myself are paying off.speaking of numbers and cholesterol my hdl also went up two point! now i have a problem with my hdl, why does it only seem to be going up two points every visit? i eat…See More

just got back from the doctors and it looks like i gained some weight. what a bummer! i have been noticing that every time that i go for a visit my weight seems to drop and then go up a little bit and then come down again. i wonder why that is. maybe i should have asked the doctor.

so today was the day that i got to see my doctor. i was hoping that the news i got was going to be a lot better than it was, but i'm really happy with the results of my blood work.
my HDL count was 32 that means i brought it up two points from my last test. i was a little pissed off considering all the hard exercise that i did. so there has to be something else that i can do on top of me exercising like crazy. my doctor did ask me to start taking a baby aspirin a day which i think… Continue

the fear is still lingering in the back of my head but hope is still in the air after getting my blood drawn this last wednesday to check my good cholesterol. i know that i wasn't the best at sticking with my workout schedule for the 5 weeks that i had but i think that the days that i did work out i busted my ass to the point where everything hurt.

- I was telling you that I don't know what else to do because my glucose is still over 100 when I wake up and 2 hours after eating is usually between 125-145..but that's counting carbs, of course. Last time I went to McDonald's and ordered a sugar-free vanilla iced coffee and I could tell that they gave me the one with sugar because I was feeling terrible, I was falling asleep while driving and very dizzy, my sugar was 220 when I got home, I couldn't eat dinner that night. Tell me about you please, I hope everything is going well for you. Take care.

- Well, I would like to change doctors but with my insurance is difficult. I will wait and see how everything goes these 3 months and then I will do something about it. I have my next appointment on July. My doctor is not and endocrinologist, he said he is the "diabetes specialist". Let me know how you do on your cholesterol. I called in for my results and they were a little better, My total cholesterol went from 184 to 170, triglycerides 133 to 76, HDL from 46 to 48 now. I know that 48 for good cholesterol sounds great, but for women it should be near 60, I think it's different for men. I hope you got good results. Please share!
