Elizabeth replied to Big Daddy's discussion 'Coffee spiking levels'"I definitely notice a spike after drinking coffee. So much so that I stopped having it on a regular basis. It was worse in the morning. My sugars are much easier to control if I avoid coffee.

I really got a smug sense of satisfaction when I told them I was diabetic and therefore was one of those pesky "high-risk" folks. Hey, if diabetes can do one good thing for me a year...."
