I did shots for 36 years and pumping for 6 and I do think it is so much better and makes my life easier, but I have put on quite a bit of weight, because it is so easy to push a button. Sometimes when I am having a few bad days of high bgs, I think the grass was greener with shots, but I know that is not true since I have about 8 different basal settings through the day. I still have a very hard time with exercising and going low and I feel that has increased with the pump, I feel it is because of the constant flow of fast acting insulin, just my take.
