"I have UMR and UnitedHealthcare PPO, and use Edgepark for my pod re-orders. My plan considers the pods as supplies, and charges me 20% after deductible. Hope this helps."

Cost of pod refills raised again
I received a bill from Insulet for my recent pod refill. A three-month supply (30 pods) has increased from $1350 to $1800. I love my Omnipod, but wow. Not looking forward to getting my insurance EOB.

"You're right - I always mix the two up - my mistake. To correct myself, my HDL level is good, and my LDL was borderline high, hence the statin prescription.
