It was me, the minimed pump rep, and three girls, a type1 CDE(a triathlete, 1/2IM), another type1 dietician and another type1(nurse, athletic trainer.)...all three were also very instrumental in starting www.diabetestrainingcamp.com ...a great week long camp that i went to 3 times for type1 athletes...thanks and will talk to you soon

- What you do sounds great...you're not likely to get stale! I too love the ocean.....memories of Summers spent in the cottage on the St Lawrence River...not far from the gulf. Whales in them waters...and sharks. Deep and wide at that point; can't see the other shore. I miss the sound of the waves...the scent...the hues....but my "fixes" are infrequent!! Grades 4 & 5 here...teaching is a second carreer...prior to that, was a Graphic Designer and Illustrator (still do illustrations)...I'm in southwestern Ontario...Kitchener. Gary said… - My pump will show active insulin whenever I use the bolus wizard, so I can check it that way if I need too. Mostly I just judge it by that last time I ate and how much I bolused then. I avoid running soon after eating (< 2 or 3 hours) if at all possible.
