Hi Eric

I read your book. It reminded me a lot of what I used to go through when I was first diagnosed. Pulled a lot of memories off my shelf.

Welcome, Eric. I'm a music teacher diagnosed the same year as you. I also majored in English and am a writer, too, as well as one of the admins here at tudiabetes. Welcome to our community! We're glad to have someone with your enthusiasm aboard!

Make sure you check out the groups here. We have some for Teachers with Diabetes, Animas Users, and Northeastern U.S. Diabetics.

I just went to your website, you are a very good writer. Loved the post about telling your daugther to take the pink thing out of her mouth. :) Can we add comments to posts? Do you have to be a member?

Eric, welcome to the site. I see you are a teacher! That's wonderful. I taught for a year and am now working another job while I work on my Masters in Early Childhood Education.
I also love the fact that you are a writer. I am too, although I haven't written a whole novel yet! LOL
I am an avid reader of YA books. Have you tried with the same publishing company that Lurlene McDaniels writes for? She wrote a book called "All the Days of Her Life" about a diabetic girl years ago. The company I think is Laurel-Leaf Press.
I hope you enjoy the site!
