Ah! I've had it for over eleven and a half years and it's still a struggle. But it does get easier. Are you going to look into getting a pump? I've had one for eight years or so and love it. It's made my life so much easier and has given me so much freedom. Just a few weeks ago I took a break from my pump and went on shots for a week. I forgot how much work it is to be on shots! But it does get easier! And now with the internet, and communities, it's great.

lol sorry it took me forever to get back to you. I'm not on here a lot, but anyway, enjoy your honeymoon. I don't remember having one, to be honest. Once it's over, things will seem more predictable hopefully. Is this getting any easier for you?
