Greetings, from a 91,young who was diagnosed as clinically dead, by DR CARL SILVER in EVERETT, 1977. Since then have been on a fantastic journey of being ROLE MODEL to over 40.000 since, and as a computer rookie, have found a way to mentor to members in areas, high in diabetes, low in info, by asking them "WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR AREA TO IMPROVE YOUR DIABETES PROGRAM? also WHAT DO YOU KNOW? As a LION member I suggest they get in touch with local LIONS CLUBS, they have an excellent diabetes awareness & prevention program. Check out www.restorethebantinghomestead.com and see why AMIGOS will be selling BLUE ROSES, JULY 30 INSULIN APPRECIATION DAY also on that day I will be asking insulin-users, worldwide, to call 5 DIABETICS , to join me, in silence, and give THANKS FOR INSULIN, giving hundreds of millions of US a chance to live healthy and productive lives TODAY. I am looking for suggestions as how be best celebrate this diabetes milestone? Our mission is the meaning of the rose, "ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE" Keep in touch clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca
