Hi Fabiola,

Nice to meet you! I loove the Omnipod. It totally beats regular pumping, at least personally. Let me know if you have any questions.

Are u currently on the mm with the sensor??

You asked what the difference between the MM sensor and the Cozmo pump are. Cozmo is a brand of insulin pump produced by a company called Smiths Medical. It is not a continuous blood glucose sensor - just a pump, but they are partnered with Abbott who makes the new Freestyle Navigator - one of the three sensor technologies on the market (the other two being the Dexcom Seven and the Minimed Guardian RealTime). Minimed has an insulin pump called the Paradigm 722 that is integrated with their Guardian Sensor system.

Hi, I had been diabetic for 19 years now and i have 3 kids and i was afraid in all 3 pregnancies, but thank God all are just fine althougt they were born a little early.
It was abig challenge and with my last pregnancie the lowest hb1ac was 6.8 wich is a little high for pregnancie.

Now i am getting ready to start with the pump in 2 months but i have not decide yet , i just think my choice is between mid. and animas, i feel a lot streess specialy because i don't know how does feel to be hooked to something 24 and the attention that requires specially when i have 3 kids a home and a husband who is stress alredy like me..

Welcome to our community, Fabiola!

To add a profile photo so we can recognize you in our forum discussions, follow the instructions here.

You might be interested in our Southwestern Diabetics group or our One Touch Users group. And since you have questions about pumping, perhaps the New to the Pump or Insulin Pump Users groups would be a good place to start. I've pumped for 8 years myself. Feel free to ask me anything.
