Fair Light said… Many thanks to all of you for the warm welcome...I am new not only to this board but to diabetes itself..I was just diagnosed a couple of months ago and I have a lot to learn...As of now, I am attempting to control my diabetes with diet and excercise. I see my endocrinologist on May 8th. If I am not successful with this, we will then explore other methods of managing this...but for now I am learning what foods make me sick and what foods make me feel good...I am keeping a food journal and that helps..I have accepted the fact that I will live with this to the best of my ability....Also I am a full time care giver for a 98 year old woman with type 2 diabetes....I began to manage my life the same way I had already learned to manage hers...but I still will have a lot of questions and much to learn...thanks again for the warm welcome...
