I have been using my CGM, testing more, remembering to bolus, and downloading to the software... But I just can't get into the habit of writing it all down. Can't that be enough.... Geez!

So I know this will sound, and like actually will be or is an excuse, but every Monday seems to ring in with a hue bang... Literally I mean a slap in he face from one side or the other. Work, my personal life, diabetes life... Anywhere. I just feel so punched down, so early in the week, I don't know where to start. Aren't weeks supposed to begin on good notes, and then go downhill? I just want to crawl up in a ball and fall asleep. I know this is depression, but what else do you suggest? I dont… Continue

Yesterday was really not a great day for me. Not that today was much more stellar, but a least the folks from Sales were nicer to me today!
So i remembered to test this AM, before I ate lunch, and I bolused or that too, 10 min late... That was about it. I was stressed to get stuff done at the end of the day (here come the excuses, move over reality) so I ate some candy, just 3-4 mini rolls and some yogurt at 5, but a least I remembered to bolts... 20min later!

I think I might have jumped the gun on those goals I wrote yesterday. I am not so sure I can achieve them, all of them, even more than the first one. I know I "failed," YES, I "failed" today, yesterday, whatever day it is now. Can I really do this?

Felidia, congratulations on being featured on TuDiabetes. I think your excellent post hit a real nerve with many of us. Diabetes means we have to keep trying and each time we don't succeed can make it seem like failure. Don't let the darn disease get you down. And do please keep writing.
