I'm on the Minimed 512. I'm also using an Animas 2020 with saline. A few weeks ago I tried the Cozmo with saline. Based on comparing the two new ones, I'm looking seriously at the Cozmo.

That is really funny !!!!! Coincindence or whatever! So that means you became a D about 14 years after I did! Now I'm not the only one here who was diagnosed on August 10th!!!! Goody!!!! We will have alot to talk about about the month of August!! I can tell you that down here it's always the hottest month of the year........But this passed August was one for the recodr breakers!!! NO RAIN ANYWHERE AROUND US EVEN! I have a friend who lives about 5 miles from me and while we were dealing with triple didget temps it would come a VERY small shower over at her house and do NOTHING here! I kinda got sick of seeing the sun!!! Now their telling us to look out this winter is gonna be tough!!!

Hi Jenni -

Welcome to the tudiabetes.com family. Bernard took the words right out of my mouth. Excellent A1c especially being on shots. I strive to be just like you.

Here are a few tips on how to make the most of the site. I invite you check out the different groups; we have: there's an excellent chance you will find more than a few that you can identify with.

If you find the community useful, I'd be honored if you could link to us on your blog/site if you have one or invite; family members, friends, colleagues and anyone whom you feel may benefit from it.

Also, if you know of any local newspapers, TV or radio stations that you feel could be interested in writing about our community, please let them know about our recent Press Release, announcing the community: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/8/prweb546849.htm;

Last, if you run into Spanish-only speaking folks, please let them know about EsTuDiabetes.com; our sister Spanish-speaking community.

Once again, welcome to the family and we look forward to hearing from you.

If you're starting on the Dexcom, you might find this blog post of mine useful reading. It also points to several other bloggers who have written about their Dexcom experience.

I'll bet you're amazed by the information it gives you. Have fun!

Hi Jenni

Welcome to TuDiabetes. What kind of magic dust are you using to get an A1C of 6.1? Are you on a no-carb diet? That's such an awesome number.

I'm curious as to which pump you're using.
