settings,system set up,bg meter,bg sound: off
As others have said, there doesn't seem to be any way to override the set 80 hour limit of each pod."

I do not believe that you can silence the expiration reminder alarms. Very frustrating, if you want to sleep through the night."

Terry replied to Gene Kelly's discussion 'Overriding Omnipod 3 day pod cycle'"The maximum amount of time the Omnipod allows is 80 hours or three days + 8 hours. There is no workaround. The biggest downside to that, for me, is I hate changing a site when it is working well and I have insulin left."

select off
also under alerts/reminders the reminder alerts can be turned off.

For one, it's cost and also, the desire to not have to change every 3 days.Also, is there a way to turn off "ALL BEEPS" for the testing of BG? I have turned off the beeps for bolus delivery except I cannot find a setting for silencing the beeps…See More

Check out their new 7 plus sensor.....it's smaller and the receiver is tinier than the G4 receiver. You might like that too. I'm looking into both devices now.

Geez, 33 years and no Major complications. Congratulations! I must say that you did Better than I did. Through circumstance, I wasn't taught much about Diabetes and I grew to hate it especially as a Teenager. After 22 years with it, I had Retinopathy in my left eye also. And a few other jigjags through the years. But slowly I've learned about Diabetes and myself and thankfully, I'm doing pretty Good now with Diabetes(touch wood)although I have tempted fate a few times. :D
Good to hear and I agree that we can't drop the ball concerning Diabetes or it'll eat us up and spit us out when we least expect it. Keep up your Good work and stay aware cuz Luck does run out eventually. Have a Fine day Gene.
