I didn't notice that it looks that way before! My tape is on top of my CGM. But I use Tegaderm dressing over it, not IV3000. That may be why it looks that way, because Tegaderm doesn't have those little circle things (not sure how to describe them) like the IV3000 does. And also in one of my pics I got really sunburned, so the white around my CGM is just my plain old skin!! Haha.
That's actually my hip/side way up high on my leg, far enough toward the front that I'm not sitting on it. The only places I can put my sensor where there's enough fatty tissue are my love handles and hips/butt. The real estate is limited. I put my pump set on my abdomen and sides since that doesn't need quite as much fat. So, ya, that's a PG-13 picture, but I thought it was tasteful enough and not so obvious that it was OK to post.
