You are a great story writer; besides don't moms always open up "stuff" at the grocery store to feed them and keep their mouths quiet and just pay at the checkout? I think a low blood sugar totally warrants what you had to do and I am sure even if...

Hey Hey Hey! I'm a CUBS fan who happens to live in AZ! I like your Wrigley photo - I spent most of my later teenage years as a bleach bum; I can hardly recall those years now! LOL. Too much beer and sun!

We've been saying Di-A-BEE-TEEZ here for 14 years now...but I have to tell you, I have seen some of those Wilford Brimely "remixes" on You Tube and them making fun of his Di-A-BEE-TUS pronunciation; I can't tell you how guilty I feel about laughin...

Thank you for the comment on my blog... it is always nice to get feedback ;)
It is in the low 90's here today, last week we made it to 103. I actually scrambled eggs for breakfast on the side walk, seriously!

I find it really cool that you take such an active role in your sons Type 1 Diabetes... My mom did the same and recently I "thanked her" for being so involved with me and my Type 1 Diabetes.

Thank you for the compliment on my blogs... I try to write them so people can relate... nothing more boring then reading blogs about number crunching etc, all the time.

So your son just graduated from high school last year, right? Does he have insurance through you still?

Hey, Gina! Thank you for the friend add. You were a bleacher bum, eh? I bet you had a nice tan to go along with the beer. Growing up in Vegas you had a choice of being a Atlanta (TBS) or Chicago (WGN) fan. So,at 10 years old I went with The Cubs.. the rest is history, lol.

How old is your son and at what age was he dx'd? I was 12, now I am almost 37.

Cheers!
