My 9 year old plays hockey and football and we are still learning how to manage.We took our health care providers advice about avoiding lows so wediluted gatoraid to keep him from going low. We'd suspend/disconnect right before he hit the ice and reconnected in the dressing roomright after.We found he was spiking and not going low at all (took us almost a yearto figure it out). We were told it was adreneline and he would comedown quickly...not the case.Anyone have advice on intense sports pre…See More

"My little guy (8) doesn't complain about nausea, but does say he has headaches. The headaches don't just correspond to lows. Anyone else get headaches with lows or highs?"
