Way to go girl! Never stop taking care of yourself, it will pay off. I was diagnosed at age 10 so I know exactly how you are feeling. When I was 13 I decided that I would not give myself my shots...well it didn't take long before I was back in the hospital. It was back in the 70's and that is how they would "regulate" my diabetes. Don't be discouraged because some people will treat you differently. It sounds like you have a great attitute. Keep it up!
