"Compared to what? I think that beans are pretty high carb.. GI is not ver y helpful for diabetics.. Test before eating, after 30 mins, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, and work it out for your own metabolism. I haven't eaten too many beans lately.. HH"
