I agree. It's kind of hard to give encouragement unless you know what type of encouragement is needed. I love my Omnipod, but everyone is different. Let me know what is discouraging to you and I will try to help.

I am so terrible I am doing fine though. I need to get on here more often but I had to cancel my internet for a while. But I will check up more often. I am also trying to get back into school and that's stressful also. So it's just been a crazy time for me lately. How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. I THINK I might be pregnant again. I am not positive but I'm pretty sure. So we'll see. The home pregnancy tests never work with me. i don't have enough hcg or whatever that hormone is in my body. so I always have to go to the doc to find out. I will let you know. Hope you are well. Love your face.

Thank you so much! That is so encouraging!

Were you on the pump? How were your blood sugars before you got pregnant? Like, how long were they at the recommended A1C level? I just have so many questions about women that have actually had successful pregnancies and Type 1 for a while. I've had Type 1 for 10 years now and my blood sugars have never really been controlled, but I'm otherwise extremely healthy.

Were you really strict about your diet and everything during the pregnancy, as well as preparation like taking prenatals and everything? I could ask you a million more... but I'd really like to know pretty much everything =)

And I think I wrote the exact same thing as you when "How did you find out about us? What were you searching for?" section, haha.

Holly, I was reading your responses to the OmniPod and read that you have two youngings. I really want to talk to you about how you dealt with your diabetes during your pregnancy and how everything worked out... I get so nervous when I think about when I have kids!

People don't realize that this breed is not K9, they are so close to human an require ungodly amounts of attention. We also have a german-shorthair, dunber than a box of rocks, but sweet as can be and they would die without each other. Its a hard choice to make, and we sometimes wonder if we bit off more than we can chew. But when you see the kids and dogs playing, we know we did what was best for us.

teach me to try and name a dog breed when the sugars are up. That's why are dogs love us so much. My min pin knows exactly when I have gone into the kitchen for some milk to treat my lows. He even will wake my husband up if I am haveing trouble getting there quickly.

Sorry, I haven't been on in a while. I am doing fine. It's just been so crazy busy lately. I like non-fiction books. Really anything that is good. =) I would love suggestions. I have a hard time going to the library and finding one on my own. Hope you are doing well. Love your face.

Hey Holly! I love my OmniPod so far! My average seems to be staying about the same, but I'm actually reducing my low to high swings, so it's great!
Take care!!

I went to my doc yesterday. It went really well. I really like her. My A1C was like a 9. Which isn't good, but a lot better than my 13 that I was at one point. =) So I'm working on getting that down. I think it will be good. I talked to her about the pump and she said she's going to look into it for me. I am excited. She's going to get it ordered and stuff. I am hoping my insurance will pay for the majority of it. I forgot to ask her about Apidra though. Oh well, I see her in three months again. Thanks for asking. I am so glad your little one is getting better. It's so hard when they're sick. I am glad that your doc is working with you to get it under control. I know it's like a guessing game and stressful sometimes. I'm prayin for you. So have you read any good books lately? I am dying for a good book. =) Wishing you well. Love your face.
