Hello Y'all!

I am so relieved to have found tuDiabetes.
For the longest time, I needed to reach out and find more people with Type 1 diabetes who are in my age range (20s-30s). I want to connect with active diabetics who truly understand what I am going through.

After being diagnosed at age 2, I make every effort to live a healthy life and have fun in the process. I've encountered every roadblock imaginable from having…

Welcome to our on-line family. You'll finda a bunch of well educated and caring folk around here that all share the Big D in common. We love to share information as well as provide a comfie shoulder to cry on at times. We also are great when it comes a time to vent because we listen and don't argue back... Anyhow take some time to explore and see some of the great groups around here and join in.
Rememer to introduce yourself and if you have ?? just ask !

Again Welcome !

Oh I know how you feel. I took Type 1 way back in 1973 and was brought up in a REALLY small town and went to an even smaller school. Noone in either place had diabetes but me. I was so glad to find this site a few years ago. It made me feel like I wasn't the only one. My daughter took Type 1 when she was 11 but I don't know why she seemed to be doing alot better with hers (and still is) than I could do with mine. She just didn't get all the fussing I was doing about that roller coater of Highs and lows but here ppl do!
