Hello Y'all!



I am so relieved to have found tuDiabetes. For the longest time, I needed to reach out and find more people with Type 1 diabetes who are in my age range (20s-30s). I want to connect with active diabetics who truly understand what I am going through.

Oh I know how you feel. I took Type 1 way back in 1973 and was brought up in a REALLY small town and went to an even smaller school. Noone in either place had diabetes but me. I was so glad to find this site a few years ago. It made me feel like I wasn't the only one. My daughter took Type 1 when she was 11 but I don't know why she seemed to be doing alot better with hers (and still is) than I could do with mine. She just didn't get all the fussing I was doing about that roller coater of Highs and lows but here ppl do!
