This was a small gathering for what will become a larger event. The 20+ who gathered in the cold to pedal along the waterfront to downtown had a good time. It was nice to meet others affected by diabetes, and to share a few beers at Hales afterward.

Your biking gear looks sweet- just so you know! I've been trying to buy some running gear in those colors, but apparently the industry thinks girls only want to wear pink or light blue....silly. Do you ride with the Type 1 group in Seattle?

I'll be out on Sunday in Renton - I finally ran into Dave Nestvold and others and got the invite, so I hope to meet you out there.

I haven't received any communication from the Type 1 ride group after leaving my email with the guy at the bike expo weeks ago. I'm sure people are out riding, so my guess is that a 'mass email' has been sent out and my yahoo account sent it to a spam folder.
Anyway, I have been out riding with some guys on Sunday morning who like to hammer and seek out hills. It's not too bad, but they don't stop as frequently as I'd like so I can test, bolus, or whatever.
Please let me know if your group is out riding, because I'd like to meet up.

Good to see you here Loana. I see you have already joined the NW group. We're hoping to maybe get together at the Diabetes Expo in April. I see you are also a fellow Animas and Dex user. I'm off to see my endocrinolgist at UW this morning, so need to hit the road....
