My type 1 diabetes was discovered in 1967 and I have fought hard to maintain control since, I was in my 20's. Now 45 years later I have found out there are some side effects that you cannot avoid. It is very disheartening. I guess I am discouraged especially to find this out now. Just need a place to complain. Thanks for listening.See More

- I grew up in VA lived 10 years in CA and then OK before moving to Northern NJ in 2001. I worked for the Navy, taught school, and now let my husband take care of me. glad you joined pumping seniors! see you around the community!

wow, your dx is exactly one year earlier than mine!!! Click on "Groups" on the top banner, and you will find we have one called "Pumping Seniors" - we are a fine collection of vintage antiques. we also have a teacher's Group. Is that Newark NJ you are from? I live in NW NJ.
