Coming close to the time here in Boston to set up my grow room. Last year I visited Home Depot and left spending a small fortune, but the items I bought should last a decade or better.
First I bought several 6' plastic folding tables at $45 a piece, then a 4' Lithonia four lamp shop light for each table…

Well I'm gearing up for this year's garden and had the epithany that beyond just getting outside for the exercise, peace of mind, it really is a conscious choice about what I'll be eating later on in the season and beyond. I still have some squash mash for amazing squash muffins, tomato paste for pizza still in the freezer from last fall.
So I'll be setting up my "grow tables" in the next couple of weeks in the basement to get things going.…

Last month's "Blizzard of 2013" left a snowfall of 27", this week we recieved another 19" after most of the orginal snow had melted except the snowbanks along the street. Blah!
Oh well, Spring is just two weeks away and the planting will be well under way six weeks from now, sooner…
