As you have seen I just started pumping again after a 1.5 year break. Averages down 20 to 30 points first 3 weeks....then the problems begin. 2nd day into infusion set, 8 mil. cannula with Humalog.…Continue

Diabetic since 2002, started the Mini-Med 722 and wore it for 2 years. Moved and found a new Doctor he for some reason pulled me off of it and said I would get better control with Injections. 1 year…Continue

"My experience with Medtronic has been that when it blows up, they overnight me a new one. Although, unfortunately, both of my blowups have been on Saturday of 3 day weekends (4th of July, 2011 and Labor Day, 2013...) which means the new pump…"

I am getting good at bolus caclulations, but can't go on like this. Is it for sure that insurance companies wont pay for a new pump but every 4 years? Even if Dr. will approve?See More

"So, a few days has passed. I changed sets on Monday using Novolog, my averaged last couple days has been 130's. Site will be 2 days old at 5pm today, with no pain. Accu-chek did send out IV3000 in case of Adhesive allergies. Doc says stay on…"
