Type 2 and Pumping...

Hi all,I'm a Type 2 and am 'fortunate' enough to have qualified for a pump a few months ago.  I love it and it's really balanced out my glucose readings.I have a question, mainly for my own peace of mind and to get a better understanding of where I'm heading.  My morning BGs are usually 97-105, and my basil generally varies a bit during the day, but is relatively steady.Do you check your BG every time prior to eating anything?  I do, but I haven't gotten to a good steady basil rate.  Or does it…See More

I'm tired of being tired... and having to explain why

"Wow James... you sure sleep a lot..." I just heard this accusing comment from a friend after telling her I needed to take a nap.

It just gets old explaining that I'm not lazy; my 61 year old body just gets worn out from the blood glucose roller coaster ride. Then it's the 20 questions from someone who doesn't have this wonderful disease... did you eat too much sugar?... are you taking your medicine?... have you thought about losing some weight?... oh, Type 2, so its your lifestyle… Continue
