Help! I saw my endo last night, and she says that she'd endorse me getting a pump. I was just diagnosed on 12/11/11, so this is all new new new to me, BUT I'm super duper excited to get this ball…Continue

Janie, I guess easier is a relative term. All of us go through bouts where we get fed up with this "condition". That is what makes this website so wonderful. First, you can vent and second, we all understand what you are going through.

As for me, I fought D for over 7 years trying to get meds that would work and keep me stable. One problem was that I was controlling way to tight. I felt the lower my BG the better. I actually had A1c numbers in the 4.3 range. Had a lot of lows. Finally got an endo who would work with me and now my A1c is normally around 5.1. Unless I mess up I am normally pretty stable. But there are still times when my sugars just go nuts and that gets frustrating.

But you just remember that YOU CAN DO IT!!

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
