I just made a REALLY good raw hummus with sprouted lentils. 1 cup lentil, few tablespoons of lemon, clove of garlic, cumin, a little olive oil. It was very satisfying. Have that with a raw flax cracker. HEAVEN. You could use sprouted chic peas too.

Hey thanks for sending me the names. I appreciate it. I think the woman in Reston would be the closest to me and I did check out her website but it said she was on maternity leave right now. So I sent for some information for now! Thanks again! Have a good week! :0)

Hi Jasmine! How is everything going? You mentioned before about giving me a couple names of people who do acupuncture in Va. I've been considering looking into it and wondered if could pass on their names or info. You can shoot me an email here if you'd rather not leave it on my page. Thanks a bunch! Hope all is well!!

Hi Jasmine..well that's good to know about acupuncture being safe for diabetics and being helpful too. I would definately be interested in anyone you can recommend in the area!! I always just wondered about if it was safe for diabetics or not..seems like nothing is sometimes!! I've had a lot of back, shoulder and neck problems over the yrs that I've tried everything to help but I had the most relief with massage therapy so acupuncture is something I haven't tried..YET! :)

Hi Jasmine, welcome!! I see you're an acupuncturist..very cool! I always wondered what it would be like to have that done. Are there any precautions for a diabetic having that done? I know there are with things like massage therapy like not doing deep tissue massage or hot stone therapy work..so that's why I wondered.
