Greetings Jay-Jay..How old are you? You've had diabetes for four years now, how is it going? How are you handling it in school...do you have much support from the teachers and your friends?

We had a nice Christmas - we didn't have to go too far, just an hour away to my husband's brother's. My family lives near Washington DC, about 6 hours drive, and we had just seen them in November for my dad's 90th birthday. Right after Christmas Ed and I went to New York City for a few days and had lots of fun! Now it's back to normal - it's been very snowy here so far

oh, Jay, I should have told you to look out for hypos the day after your ride.When I was working at the Pentagon, I used to ride my bike to work once or twice a week in the summer. It was a toal of 20 miles. I used to always go hypo the next day, no matter what I ate.

I think your work talking to other t1 teens is so important. I wish I'd had a friend like you when I was a teen.
