WDD Photo Scavenger Hunt at Worldwide

November 10, 2012 all day
This year Connected in Motion is excited to be bringing back the World Diabetes Day Photo Scavenger Hunt.... What's a 'photo scavenger hunt'? It's just like a regular scavenger hunt, except instead of gathering the items on a list, you take a photo of them! There are two types of clues listed to participants: (1) things to find and (2) scenes to create. A thing to find might be 'a meal requiring the biggest bolus'. You come across the biggest vat of maple syrup you've ever seen? Snap a picture…See More

Hey Jen,

I'm using Tudiabetes as a way to connect with fellow young adults with diabetes. I'm a student at the University of South Florida and president of our chapter of "Students with Diabetes." We're hosting a national conference June 1st - 3rd in Tampa and want to bring in as many Type I diabetics (18 - 30yrs) as possible from across the country. Last year we hosted "DTreat" and ended up having a Canadian girl come out! Granted she is attending a U.S. university, but my point is, we don't discriminate! I'd love to meet you if you could make the trip!

The conference costs $55 USD total, which covers housing, food, & activities like Busch Gardens. It should be a lot of fun (we did something like this last year and it was great--really invaluable)! Please let me know if you are interested in any of this.. I'm easy to reach.
