Something tells me this dream was either telling me about the future or giving me a hint about keeping an eye on my workmates :S I have been known to have reality dreams before... I have even been known to dream about a friend passing, waking up c...

Dreams are usually connected to one's reality It forms part of one's life and experiences. Some researchers say that dreams are representation of our own greatest fears or strongest desires =)

Joined here shortly after discovering that I'm quite often too high after meals. Could say I'm a self diagnosed pre-diabetic, thanks to the ignorance from the Swedish medical system. All their tests has shown normal, but that doesn't make my after meal readings staying below 140! Still haven't had GTT done, and that's the one test that could show something...

Now that was a really wierd dream!

Early this morning I was dreaming very clearly. One of those dreams which feels real. Anyways.
I was waiting for my bus after work with a couple of workmates, one workmate called his girlfriend or wife and said he'd be home in a flash and then he whipped out a silver novopen 4 and took insulin (told you it was a very clear dream) I was thinking to tell him to wait until he came home but he finished before I could. When the bus was supposed to come, it didn't come so we went into my parents carav… Continue

A small thing which makes a huge difference.

Today has been a pretty cold and very windy day here in Copenhagen. It was dreadful having to go outside to buy dinner for today. Outside the supermarket there was a homeless man selling a magazine homeless people can sell to have a little income. I went into the supermarket and when I came out the man was still standing there with his magazines. For the first time ever I bought one of those magazines- haven't bought it before due to not normally carrying cash. But today I had cash on me and got… Continue

B12 day!

I did it! Took my injection. Took me less than 2 minutes, no hesitation or anything! Hurt even less than when the nurse gave me B12 the other day. I didn't feel much then, I didn't feel anything today :D This will be a piece of cake!

You know you don't have a problem with needles when you can poke yourself with a 2 inch long 22G needle without thinking first LOL
I knew I could do it, but never had I expected it to be that easy :)

B12 deficiency *sp?*

Nearly 2 weeks ago now I finally went to see a doctor. Tests were taken obviously. A couple of days later I got a diagnose: I have too little B12! At first my doctor prescribed B12 pills, but since I already have a high intake of B12 through my diet I said to the doctor that I don't think taking pills might do the trick, if nothing else, it would take weeks for the pills to give a noticeable effect if working at all. Doctor agreed and asked if I'd rather take B12 shots and I said that's no probl… Continue

Oh...give it about another year or so...Im sure you will get better on it =)
Im doing pretty good. Just had so much to do. Did the grocery, did some business on my sister's behalf (she is in London), back home...did laundry , LOL. Tiring day. But I make it a point to be here in the community too.
Right now its nice and warm here in Manila. We had been terribly hit by 5 typhoons for the last two months and things are just starting to get dry. Philippines is a tropical country. We do not have winter here unlike in the US. Only dry and wet weather. Sunny and warm during summers...March to July then rainy from August to Feb. it get a bit chilly by December and January. Nope...no snow. Perfect beach weather =)

Take your time in deciding. Talk...talk...talk...to each other on what and how one feels and thinks. take one step at a time. Whats important is that you are both happy and comfortable...everything else follows. You are both young and you have so much opportunities in store for you both.
Start learning the vernacular or conversational Chinese first..Like numbers, directions, places, pleasantries, food, common instructions, body parts, and greetings. It may not be formal Chinese yet...but it will help you communicate with his relatives and friends too. Start with words...then phrases...then sentences. Dont worry...You will get the hang of it. Your motivation to learning is also pleasing your yourself, spouse and his family. .

Philippines is a beautiful country with wonderful people. Filipinos have their own problems in terms of politics and economy. A Catholic dominated culture melting pot of Spanish, Chinese, Americans and Japanese. The city has world class amenities, recreation, entertainment, infrastracture, and technology. But its the outskirts provinces have the bests beaches, waterfalls, resorts and nature beauty. It is ideal for honeymooners too =) I was born and raised here but my work permitted me to travel so much. Now my husband and I have two homes...Oklahoma and Manila!

I love China...been to Beijing and Guandong. By the way, Im also Asian (Filipina) by descent. My American husband and I have been in Oklahoma for 8 years now. But we frequent Manila, Philippines. It is where we are right now taking care of some business. Will be back in the US next year. Sounds familiar? Where are you both planning to establish a home?

Thanks for the blog comments. The kitten you just saw (Twinkie) its Twinkle's son...born a month after he died. They look so alike! Twinkie is 5 months now...so playful but very sweet...like his father. I agree...its unimaginable to think when our dear animal family passes away. I had a dog named Basha who was 20 years old when she passed away. By the way...the bruise on my arms are gone and fine. Just the memory of the pain...and the lesson to request for a better lab technician! LOL
