"This person had asked her CDE about it and the CDE had not even heard of it. May add that pumping is not very common in Sweden, so not too many CDE or doctors are familiar with pumps."

Difficult times...

Posted on October 3, 2010 at 10:36am 9 Comments

Been and am going some rough times, probably the worst times of my life. Feels like I'm sinking into a depression, and I just don't see much light in the tunnel right now. For the past 3 weeks I've been unable to work due all this. I'm crying a lot, barely eating and have severe difficulties sleeping. I am however planning to start working again tomorrow. Hopefully getting an everyday again can make me focus better.

Bg wise I've been on bit of a roller coaster for being me. In early… Continue

China trip and grass!

Posted on July 16, 2010 at 11:11am 3 Comments

As some of you may know. I've been to China again recently- actually came home to Denmark again just last Thursday. The trip to China was amazing as always! Was so nice to just spend some time with in-laws and family friends I have not seen since last year or in some cases even longer.

My husband and I held wedding reception in China on June 19th for his relatives and friends of the family, a neat little party with about 200 guests in a 5 star hotel!

My parents were with us in China… Continue

More prednisone

Posted on April 12, 2010 at 1:48pm 2 Comments

Today I had an appointment with my GP regarding my odd stomach pain I've been having since December, and my hayfever since the season has come for that. I got more antihistamines prescribed, along with a long acting prednisone shot which was given by a nurse after the appointment. Yay me, more prednisone! I love it in a way because it does take away most of my allergy related discomfort, BUT it also makes me high enough to be considered full blown diabetic! So it's both good and bad. But if I… Continue

The joys (or not) of Prednisone...

Posted on April 1, 2010 at 12:07am 4 Comments

I have hayfever (pollen allergy) at the moment, and to help my body fight the allergy a doctor put me on Prednisone for a few days the other day. Already having highs and lows before, being on prednisone doesn't make it better blood glucose wise even though it does work wonders for my hayfever- I can actually breathe through my nose again!

Anyways, I started on prednisone a couple of days ago, night to yesterday I barely slept at all and felt as if I was high. Tested my fasting… Continue

Ah, the joys!

I promise, it IS fun to poke yourself with a 1 inch long 23G needle LOL I've just taken my now monthly B12 shot. Only took about 1 minute or so. Doesn't hurt at all unless hitting a bad spot or injecting that 1ml of Behepan too fast :-P

Went to work for a while today to hand in another document from my GP and just socialize some with my workmates who are also good friends of mine. It was so nice to just be away from home for a while and meet friends. On my way home I stopped by in a… Continue

Oh you are at Denmark now! Silly me =) You working there now? Living there? Where is hubby?

Unfortunately, Ill miss all the snow and ice in the States this season since we will spending the holidays in Manila. Christmas is wonderful here in the Philippines...lts of yummy food and festivities! My husband is happy about it though since he does not like snow and ice so much....he says he is tired of it haha! I love the snow! Just snow though...since I also dislike ice. We get a lot of it in Oklahoma these seasons...
