Hello Jennifer - I see you recently had your 1st anniversary as a D - I'm sure all of your friends here are saying the same thing - "take care of yourself!" - it will be critically important for you. Your A1c sounds pretty good - that's good for you - keep it there. I have been using a pump for nearly a year - it has helped me come down from a consistent 9+ to a 6.7 average - wish I could have done that years ago, but, I guess it is never too late. Best wishes!

I'd say your pic/avatar pretty much describes any Type 1 diabetic before being diagnosed, urinating just about anywhere. That's a hilarious pic. Thanks for sharing it with all of us.

Hi Jennifer, looks like you are member 2018 and i'm 2019 :-) You're way ahead of me though on customizing your website. Thanks for adding me to your network. This whole diabetes thing is pretty new to me so I'm looking forward to getting to know other people going through the same thing and help each other. I've never been on a blog or network like this before, but I'm amazed at how nice the people here are and how responsive they are to lend support and encouragement. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

Hi Jennifer. I also think your profile pic is an interesting choice. Is it an expression of your thoughts on diabetes or just having fun?
