Hi my name is Jen! I am a type 1 diabetic going on for 20 years now! The main reason I am here is for support for others and to share my story. I do not know if anyone out there has heard of diabulemia but its an eating disorder found in the diabetic community amoung young women and teen girls. Well I went through it and I am still trying o live with the consequences of my actions. If there is anyone out there who would like to ask questions or chat about whatever....hit me up! I can only let you know what I went through to help so you dont have to suffer!

Starting over after 23 years

I am a type 1 diabetic and have been so for over 23 years. I need some advice or words of wisdom on this particular matter. I have extremely unhappy with my previous doctors and in 2 weeks will be going to a new doctor. Here is the thing, I want to start over! I want to go into the doctor's office and have them treat me like I have just been diagnosed. Is that weird?
