acidrock23 said… I think the point of all the running books (I got Chi Running today but didn't get to it...) is to run more smoothly. They provide some tips about dropping your arms and positioning your core and stuff that are useful. I am not totally automatic about it yet as I will run smoothly for a while and then hit a street w/ traffic or something else that will get me 'fired up' and I'll run faster and blow my form. Or, of course, hauling out the meter or the jelly beans or whatever? Chi Running seems to have more specifics/ drills to get your form smoother. Galloway doesn't go into a lot of detail but I found several of his tips useful.
What are the endo teams unrealistic expectations? Re Food? I haven't ever seen a doctor who recommended less than about 200 G of carbs 45-60x3 and 15-30x 3 but I eat more like 15-7-20-7 to 15- 55 (incl post dinner beer/snacks?) and maybe 15 more later on if I'm on a roll which is maybe 100-150G? If it's a number goal that they just read at you, I would not worry about it, I would worry about fixing whatever numbers are off but it sounds like you had a level day today? When I saw how easy it is to do that every day w/ less carbs, w/ the bonus of slowly dropping lbs, it made sense. I still am not sure I'd ever do the 30G/ day that seems popular here but less than a doc recommends seems ok?
