I've Had Diabetes for Over 20yrs!

- Hey Jenny, that's great that you will be running the Cherry Blossom 10 miler! You have to sign up quickly for that one because it sells out, right?
A 10k is the longest race I've done, but I would love to sign up and train for a 10-mile one or 1/2 marathon sometime soon. Are you going to be doing any races before the Cherry Blossom one? My brother and I ran the St. Patrick's Day 8k a couple of years ago and it was a lot of fun. I might try to sign up for a race in March but will have to see if I can train enough beforehand, since I've been off the treadmill for a while. I did the DARCARS pike's peak 10k last April and really liked that one too.
I'll definitely let you know about the next one I sign up for... I would love to get together for one!

Are you a runner? We should get together sometime for a race in the D.C. area! I am currently recovering from a C-section and not allowed to run for at least 4 more weeks, but I am dying to get out there and do a race! I am not competitive in the least but I like to sign up for races just to keep me motivated. :) Anyway, let me know if you're doing any races around D.C. any time soon!...
