Hi all, I learned I had diabetes on May first. Have been told I need to lose weight, I weighed 244 on the 19th, and as of yesterday was down to 238. right now I do lots of walking when I can, want to switch to biking soon.

My month of May

I first found out I had diabetes around the first week of May 2009. The reason I found out was the week prior I was noticed by other to be flushed all the time and one day I was really red so they sent me down to medical at work to get check out. I had a BP of 156 over 104. I was like that for 4 days, 130 to 164 over 100 to 106. After the fourth day they said go see a doctor, which I did. After I saw the doctor he sent me for blood work, the results were high cholesterol, high blood salts, B12 d… Continue
