Hearing about someone doing their first marathon always puts a smile on my face, I just can't help it.
Glad you and Acid Rock both got interviewed. It's always good to get the word out.
My Dexcom sometimes gives me some trouble on long runs. This is less likely to happen if you put it in a baggie. I think that's often a source of trouble as a little moisture gets into the port.
As Bill King wrote about earlier in…"
"Well, it's a week ago now, but I suppose I should say I ran the Ventura Marathon last weekend, using the verb "ran" very loosely. I had no training runs over 14 miles, and pretty low total mileage, so I knew I was just going to be…"
"If you really want to do Comrades, Steve, the other options for IAAF races are the Ottawa Marathon and the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Toronto is October 10, and Ottawa isn't until next May, which may make it too late to qualify for Comrades…"
