"Hey, just read your forum post on herb and T1. I can honestly say I smoke everyday, multiple times a day and I'm T1 also. It doesn't affect me one bit in the diabetes department. If I get the munches I grab an apple or fresh veggies to…"
"I feel your pain, I'm hypo-unaware as well. I have gotten down to 24 without feeling much but once I read that bg level I certainly started feeling it! Weird!!!
My endo (and she rules) told me to keep my bg a little higher for the next few…"

You're coming along JUST FINE Jessica! Do what works for YOU...diabetes is very much of an individual thing. Don't forget to test while at work....and put some little healthy snack in your pocket to take in case you nose dive while working (I'm prone to lows also!). You can also have some snack already prepared ahead of time, and packed in a zip lock bag in 15 grams of carbs portions :)
It IS very much of a blessing that you are already very familiar with the
physiology of your body...AND that you are BF with fruit. Though fruit are high in carbs...they are also packed with fibre. Better to munch on an apple than to drink apple juice!!! This is very much a learn as you go process. You have come to the right place Jessica...a place to learn, to grow, to support and to share, all the while meeting new people and making friends!
