I found too that I don't need any bolus. I'm down to 6 units of lantus and that's it. Had some great readings the past few weeks and it's working for me. When you posted this, were you in a "honeymoon?" Because I'm pretty sure I am.

Jaclyn, have you tried low carbing? eating greater amounts of protein and healthy fats will compensate for the balance of your blood sugars and the amount of insulin you are taking in. I've been low-carbing for over a year now and my numbers have im…

Great music - I forgot you've got some good tunes on your play list. BTW, read your post about how much insulin you use. Lucky you! I average about 20 units a day. Would be less, if I was more active, but I'm LaZy! Take care and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thanks, Jill. I work out 4-5 days a week with crossfit (www.crossfit.com) and eat a paleo diet. The lack of refined foods and intense exercise leaves little room for highs. Lows are more of a problem.

Hey! Thanks for your comment. Thats really amazing, all the things you've done while sporting your pump. I usuallly am really enthusiastic and love educating people, its just not so much lately. Hmm, :\ Ive tried the pump in bra thing, but it doesnt work with me. Mainly because i dont have the boobs, and my pump is too bulky. I have the glucometer attachment so it makes my pump fatter than what it already is. Lol.

Hey Jill...

Thanks for the encouragment! I'm cracking up because all three of the ladies that commented on my blog mentioned the "marriage" aspect and used code words. My pod should arrive today so I'll probably get hooked up next week sometime. Any pointers for someone just starting out?

ahhh i see, i tried clipping it under my bra the other day. worked fairly well with the shirt i was wearing- tried the next day, not so much with a tighter shirt. so now i see your point about loose blouses and such.

so you're in NORWAY?!?! bahh *envious* lol. how did that death metal band thing go? lol- there's a huggeee DM/viking scene there its crazy. wish i was with ya! haha, and you totally should visit finland. Summer is the best time to go cause its not depressing and frigid!

-hope you're having a stellar time in Scandinavia!
