Cut A1C in HALF!

I'm new on here but i was diagnosed on july 7,2009 and my A1C was 12.9 now as of oct.2009 it is 6.3%.My doctor just told me if i lose another 25 lbs i'll be off the pills altogether.

Im so glad. People here are friendly and supportive. I think I learned here more than from my doctor LOL! Im also a type 2 and taking metformin.

Greetings froma 92, Canadian soul brother, a computer rookie,clinically dead, in 1977, with BG of 880, a member of LIONS CLUB, since 1972,a ROLE MODEL, who WALKS THE WALK and TALK THE TALK,to at least 45.000 and mentoring to diabetics in high areas, low in diabetes info, through LIONS CLUBS, 45.000 clubs in 203 countries. MY test at 2 pm was 20.7 and our BLUE ROSE DIABETES FOUNDATION WEBSITE will be in operation ,in the new year. We wear a BLUE ROSE, because of its meaning, 'ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE' our motto and mission and we are diabetics helping diabetics. Woukd like to be your friend, AMIGO clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca
