A Type 1 Diabetic’s Perspective of Surgery.

I want to say that I have proof things are getting better. I had so much anxiety regarding my surgery. I read about horror stories of other diabetics in the hospital and in the OR, and I was not feeling the love on the day of my surgery. I had visions of a tug-o-war with the admitting nurse over my insulin pump in the operating room, I had visions of the anesthesiologist removing my pump when I was unconscious… and other things of this nature.

I went to my cardiologist yesterday for a follow up to an appointment, which was a follow up from a mishap last year when I fainted for no apparent reason, and fell and hit my head. I seem to still be terrified at the doctors' offices, even though I have managed to surround myself with some pretty hip characters. My internist is smart (and also very attractive) and a great doctor. Her office is polite, sharp and timely, she has all my scripts, and I have no problems with her staff at all. My… Continue

The guys working on the project asked me (at a very late stage) if I wanted to work on this particular design, and, oh yea go to Ireland a week from the day to present and do some planning and miscellaneous site work.

was just on the phone with britt she moved into her on apt last weekend and is lonly she started to tell me about babysitting others kids thare at her duple will all i got to say is spring is comming fast and they got a playground for them lol my best idea for babysitting lol. her son is now 8 months old so i don't think i would volunteer myself for babysitting all his friends i would be sending him to his freinds houses lol
