"Day four of Symlin. I stepped up to 30mcg today, and so far, no real issues with lows or with nausea. I did cut my dinner insulin a little close tonight, though. Will have to be more careful with that."

"YES. It wasn't at first, but I tend to sleep very heavily, and it takes me a while to adjust to new alarms and such. Now, it will wake me up almost 100% of the time on the first beep."

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment.
