"How much experience has this doctor had with pumps? I am afraid I don't have any first hand knowledge of basals that low so I can't give a personal opinion. However, I doubt the problem would be with the pump per se. If there were problems…"

Not any of the Medtronic groups made the cut, CGM or pump group.
I'm sure it's political, I'm guessing they have never paid for any advertising...I have been a member of TU since 2008 and have never seen a Medtronic add on their page but I could have missed it. I did drop off the DOC for almost 2 years while fighting Cancer and having a organ transplant. I see your posts on Insulin pump forums .It was almost always about Mini-Med until the Queen of the forum started using a Dexcom and T pump.

I have 2 meters, they gave me the contour ez at the hospital and mom got me a contour next usb. I use the usb most of the time, it plugs in my computer and has its own graphing system. I haven't used the graphs yet but when I plug it in it charges the battery and downloads the results to the computer.

You like the tarot? I just started collection card sets because they are so beautiful and artistically done. I have one on sacred animals and I would like the cat and angel set as well. There is a long history of art that went into the creation of decks. I am Irish and very interested in the history and traditions. They are unique and interesting.
I am an animal person. I usually get along really well with animals. I think the new boy cat was feral because he is not social, but he has hints of wanting to interact. I wish my other cat was not so territorial about the room and me. If she would chill out I think he would be doing great. He does come out but he keeps his distance. He likes when I talk to him but runs when I try to touch him though I have had him on my lap purring once.
My dog is goofy. Cats are in control of course. He is always wanting to play and they let him know when it is okay to do so. Take care. Friday. Yay!

Hi, How are the kits? Mine are doing well. I really like cats. My dog gets tortured by them all the time, but always comes back for more. I like your avatar. It looks like a druid, I am Irish. Is that what it is? It is neat. Well have a good one. I hope your diabetes is doing well. I have my ups and downs. Now coming out of a roller period. 96 before dinner, so good today. Ellen

I have a big Harrier Hound Boxer mix. He has attention deficit disorder I think, and is obnoxious, but I still love him. He doesn't know I am a cat person. Do you have outside or inside cats or both? Mine are both bedroom cats. They hang out upstairs all the time.
Are you watching the Super Bowl? Let me know who wins if you are. Take care. Have a good diabetes week. I am off to work tomorrow and won't be around much until Friday. Maybe a little if I can get some time. Take care.

(I do see the kitty face, so cute!) I like St Bernard pups!

I have two cats, Zen and Zach both black with a little white. They are no trouble. Zen is a drama queen and Zach is shy. I also have a big dog. He is a lot more work than then cats. Eight cats, wow.
