I've had all my replacement pods for the past 6 months shipped with the next pod order I receive. Saves on having to make an extra shipment so that's OK with me. Oh, and I do get my supplies directly from Insulet so it works out well for me.

I don't carry an extra meter (probably should) but I do ALWAYS carry an insulin pen with me wherever I go. If I ever lost my PDM or had it accidentally damaged I would be OK.

Well I got my first post-pod A1C results. On MDI I had ranged from 6.1 - 6.5. With the pod I received a...drum roll please...5.9! I'm stoked - I've been trying to get into the 5s and this is the first time I succeeded. :)

Congrats! I start on OmniPod Nov.3,I have been insulin dependent since Sept. 1971 and lots of insulin injections.I work in Plano.What a small world.
