Hi Marisa Yes we're lucky here with the so called National Health, but its mainly a post code lottery in a lot of things, but I can honestly say that with the exception of when I was first diagnosed, and I went about 6 weeks without any proper knowledge at all, in fact all I got was from a website we have here 'diabetes uk.com' which learned me more than anything, but once I got in the doctors system I have a brilliant diabetes nurse Tracey, she is brilliant. Anything I want to know she lets me know and even checks my stats even when they don't need to be checked just to let me know. I did feel depressed when I was diagnosed firstly, as I thought my life was over which was daft, but I realise now I am the same as before, just watch my diet and check my blood every now and then.

I notice that different people have different colours for their pages. How do you change the colour of your page? Mine is green, and I would much rather have a red or anothe bright colour. Green always seems to symbolise dismal to me, I like bright exilerating colours which are vibrant.
