The U.S healthcare system is a problem for a lot of people, including diabetics. If you support universal (single payer) healthcare, join this group! Especially since the ADA and JDRF don't seem to have anything to say on this important issue.

Could not agree more. It's really easy for anyone to go to the American Diabetes Association home page and from there, send an auto email to their proper representative. Everyone at Tudiabetes should be doing it.

For me, checking my BGs throughout the day and night got old fast even though it was only for a week or so. It was well worth it though for the freedom that I have using my oPod. My diabetes educator told me that some people have a BG spike when ...

Oh Jon.....I think you will do fine. Seems that things are so confusing at first with diabetes. You have a wonderful daughter to help you, give her a hug from me and tell her I think she is great to be so involved, good girl she is!
I will keep my fingers crossed for you, and think positive thoughts as well. Who knows, I may be asking for your help someday when I start the Omnipod....ummmmmm maybe start...lol
Take care
Robyn
