I'm sorry 6to hear that your son got it when he was 8 but like I told a 15 year old that just joined us he said he took it i think at 18 months and was now 15. He knows what to eat and when to eat it and how to count those carbs so he will know how to do this and be healther than his friends that eat what they want when they want and pay for it later1 Well that's the short version but your older and get what I mean.
