When times get hard...

I know it’s been hard for the past couple days,

We’ve seen ups and downs and have shed tears that washed emotions away.

After the verb to love to help is the most beautiful verb in the world,

Even though at times I wanted to let you go I still continued to be your girl.

Where there is great love there are always miracles,

Yet sometimes the arguments we’ve had have made me so hysterical.

Love is something eternal something we just can’t change,

And with saying… Continue

Jordan - couldn't help but notice your comment on the A1c site about your doctor not wanting to give you a pump - TIME TO GET A NEW DOCTOR! Seriously, a pump will help help you control those numbers and you deserve the best treatment. Do you have insurance? If so, you need to call them or go online and find out some other docs in your area, then look them up on the web and check their reviews. You deserve a doctor who understands your needs and works with you.

I don't have much of a story actually...
I was diagnosed about 3 months ago.
My mom brought me to my regular doctor because I was drinking nonstop and I'd lost about 10 pounds in 2 weeks.
My blood sugar was 392, and I've heard much worse when people are diagnosed,
but yeah so then we went to the hospital... and that was it
At least, I'm getting the hang of it now, and i'm switching over to a pump pretty soon
so i'm hoping that will make things a bit easier as well

Hello, Jordan, first of all I would like to br our friend because your hurting and want to get on the right path in your journey in the field of diabetes. My credentials are I have been insulin-dependent since 1977, after driving 400 miles from Montreal o Boston and ending up in a hospital, where the dr asked my wife to sign the papers, because I was clinically dead with a BS of 880.I promised that since I had a SECOND CHANCE, I would help as many diabetics as I could, so far as a ROLE MODEL who walks the walk, and take the talk, reached over 40.000 and still trailblazing at the young age of 91. I am a computer rookie that is helping me reach the world to share 91 years of wisdom plus having leading diabetes experts for my source of information. My suggestions to you is 1.have a good diabetic specialist, 2.wear a MEDIC-ALERT identification,it can SPEAK for you in case of emergencies. 3. have a DIABETIC BUDDY, you call EVERYDAY, it will serve 2 purposes, makes someone's DAY, and could also SAVE A LIFE, 4. Listen to your BODY, it tells you when to eat, snack, rest, sleep and EXERCISE. Why dont you try my AMIGOKIT way of diabetic social network, it means YOU call 5 DIABETICS, EVERYDAY and have them each call 5 DIABETICS. Let me know how it is working after you start. It will help diabetics support each other, solve internal problems by sharing experiences. On JULY 30, I am asking insulin-users, worldwide, to show their appreciation for BANTING & BEST, discovery of INSULIN, here in TORONTO, JULY 30 1921, in silence and give THANKS for hundreds of millions of us, globally, enjoying a healthy lifestye.Check out www.restorethebantinghomestead.com and see why AMIGOS will be selling BLUE ROSES, as a fund raiser to turn the HOMESTEAD, in ALLISTON, into a diabetic camp for children. We chose the flower as our fundraiser because of its meaning 'ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE' our mission. Keep In Touch clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca
